Welcome to Oliver and Geoff's homebrewandbeer.com. Our site is about making and enjoying beer.

Beer is an often-maligned beverage. But it's bad or uninspiring beer that's given beer in general its bad name. In some countries, most beers are watery, unchallenging and bland. But in many places, luscious brews full of character have survived and are as popular as ever. Elsewhere, beer drinkers who had been given little choice in beer for decades are discovering what real beer is. Many smaller breweries that survived for years by making niche beers are booming, and brewpubs and microbreweries are producing beer that is made to be enjoyed.

Many people, in their search for good beer, have turned to homebrewing. It's easy to make a beer that is better than commercial brews in many parts of the world. Others homebrew simply because it is cheap.

Whatever your interest in beer, join us and share the joy.
