I've got a batch of Coopers draught going and was thinking of dryhopping with saaz. Would saaz match this brew or should I reconsider?

last night I had the bottle of Hunter Beer Oyster Stout that i brought back from my holidays. Not a bad drop, but I was wondering if anyone knows what yeast they use and if it's worth culturing it to use in a batch?

it looks fine now..... I've never used the recultured yeast before so didn;t know whether to worry or not....

ok, I just put a batch down with a recultered Coopers Yeast. about 18hrs after pitching, there is a layer of white foam on top. It looks just like a good head. I've never seen this before, but usually use kit yeast. Id this how the coopers yeast works or am i I infected?

I tried it in Vanuatu and liked it, I just haven;t seen any over here at all...

where did you get it from and whats the expiry date? I heard that it hasn't been made for years becasue noone was buying it?

the starter had a 6 pack's worth of yeast that had been in the fridge though, so ther would have been a fair bit there.... Do you think the kit yeast would start bubbling withn a few hours though? temp was roughly 20deg
