This is just a question, i'm not gonna do it. I am a trade qaulified baker and was wondering what the hell would happen if i used instant dried yeast (bakers yeast) instead of the real deal brewers yeast. I read up on a yanky site that listed a heap of different cultures of yeast and what the effect they would have on the beer, bakers yeast wasnt one of them.
You won't get complete fermentation and it will taste off

Grabman, my mum used to make a beer bread, don't know the recipie, but know she would mix all the dry stuff and tip in beer, tasted allright, but it wasn't a bread you could use for sangers all week.

Thats how this old hermit up on the mountain made it. He floated a piece of sour dough with bread yeast sprinkled on it. It didn't work worth a shit.
