I know a guy who bought an $80 box of beer from a microbrewery in the Macedon Ranges and they all contained sanitiser! :? :shock:

The first and last carlton cold I had tasted exactly like bananas. It was weird!

Caused by the stuff being exposed to light (due to the clear glass) and a chemical reaction called "bananarama".

but really , banana tasting coldies would be an improvement. them and XXXX Gold have to be the worst beers in australia.

Toohey's do approx 32000 bottles per day during the peak season i.e. NOW - That's a lot of cleaning....... :shock:

I had a bottle of coopers sparkling a few months back and it was like popcorn, that buttery diacytal taste. Haven't had one since.
