Hey guys.
The missus finally got me a couple of kegs and a regulator for my birthday, very very happy. So now i'm looking at the various co2 options. I think this might be the go but I thought i'd run it past you guys first, http://cgi.ebay.com.au/CO2-Carbon-Dioxide-Gas-Cylinder-Bottle-Huge-4-0L-2 ...

Re: Indian Pale Ale Recipe ?
I made one of these earlier this year, very simple with 500gm LDME and 300gm Dex, ( Coopers instructions for a mid strength ). The result was a very watery beer, with no head and not as hoppy, or bitter as i wanted. So yeah, your recipe looks like an improvement for sure.

They're called Museletes, or Champane wires. A better bet would be using a tirage size Crown Seal.

Re: Little Creatures Rodgers' Beer
Dark Mild??? sounds nice. Coopers light, drastic times call for drastic measures. I did read somewhere the coopers was easily the best light in oz, so i thought id give it a go, seeing i need to cut down on the alcohol consumption

Re: Pressure pack sanitizer plus other ideas
I did this yesterday, i had the fermenter sitting up on a cupboard, and at least 2 meters of hose connected to a lil bottler. 60 odd stubbies in a bread crate (on my capping table) and you just move from bottle to bottle. Its heaps quicker not having to handle each bottle

Re: Coopers Brew Mix ?
I liked using the Coopers Brew Enhancer 2, with 500gms LDME, a can of Pale Ale and a heap of Cascade. A nice easy one, i recall drinking it after 2-3 weeks in the bottle.

Awesome idea! I'll be doing that next time, will make bottling twice as funwick wrote:When bottling I use a flexible plastic tube between the tap and the filler tube which allows me to leave all the bottles in a crate on the floor and move the filler tube between bottles.

Re: Need some guidence with my 1st extract
I really cant see me going AG, it would cost too much to get set up, and i barely have time to do kits atm. A keg set up is next on the list anyways
Would i still expect 35 IBUs only boiling that amont of malt with the hops. Im thinking it would be higher. Maybe i worry too much....
