Flat Ginger Beer

Post by Uncle Joe »

Gday Guys,

I bottled a Ginger Beer Brew about three weeks ago. I sampled 5 of them this evening, and none of them show any sign of carbonation. I have the sneaky feeling that I may have forgotten to add the priming sugar to the bottle, though I can't be sure. Can this brew be saved at this stage?

Nevertheless, it did taste good, though it would have been better had it been carbonated.

Regards

Leave it in the bottle longer. Over time it may carbonate slightly. If it doesn't then I don't think there's anything you can do about it.

yeah the yeast will still be alive,

Put some sugar in now and leave it for a couple of weeks. the 3 weeks it's been sitting in the bottle wasn't wasted, that's 3 weeks of conditioning.
