Microsoft Excell. WTF is with that program! Ever tried to set up calculations and graphs? It's like rocket science. :?

Has Bullfrog had his baby yet? Let's choose names. I'll go first. "Tad" for a boy. "Lilly" for a girl.

Bullfrog's baby is a couple of weeks off, yet.

...and 'Tad' is a syllable, not a name :P

Yes I could have said Taghd but I wanted to make the reference to Tadpoles more obvious.

You're still a pedant. :D

Bugger!
Latest batch has a lovely kraeusen of ACETOBACTER infection.
My fault, as I forgot to turn down the TempMate before our Cairns trip to CC the batch.
It was fine when we left, not so when we returned.

I don't drink deliberate infections, to quote another brewer who frequents this forum, at least not my own.
However, it is still sitting in my garage. You are welcome to rescue it for your own consumption.

Ah yes, very clever. It seems I have much rocket science to catch up on. :D

As long as it's not Kreik or Farro. Nobody'd want a sourpuss for a daughter.

No, I'm not one for infections either. Deliberate or otherwise. There seems to be a whole contingent on the other site that go gaga for the stuff, though - maybe you could try swapping it for something over there :P

Unfortutely, so it seems, on this occasion.

Only done it twice in 93 batches, and in both cases I know what I did wrong.

I'm out of yeast, and short of base malt, so I will need to put in an order to Marks Home Brew for new supplies before brewing again.

Seems as appropriate a thread as any to make the announcement; 2244 yesterday my daughter was born. 3.625kg (about 8lb, in the old money,) 50cm long, happy and healthy. Mrs Bullfrog is heavily fatigued from the 24-hour labour, but is otherwise well and looking forward to coming home.

Well-wishers are welcome to send a bottle of their finest :P
