Hi Guys, I'm back on the forum after a work induced break.

I have more of the bottles I previously offered here.

They are 650ml heavy glass crown seals, complete with bonus out-of-date beer!

There will be dozens available this week. Pick up in Northcote prefered.

Enough for batch would be great or more if you want to get rid of them. I'd be greatful for any that you have.

Hi Velo,

I could use some of those bottles if you have any left. Six dozen would be grand but I'll take what I can get. I can give you a selection of home brew or some Coopers Stout if ...

Apparently a few people reckon its quite a nice drop....

Thanks again for the bottles.
I did search out the brewery online.

It could be fine chilled, in hot weather etc. I drink enough without adding several dozen free beers into my diet.

Hi,

Do you have any bottles still available?. Only problem is I dont have any home brew available as I'm looking for bottles for my first batch. I could always send one around when I make it (if your game).

How many do you need? I've still got a few dozen at home & should be able to get some ...

I found that about 30 dozen will fit in a Liberty wagon but it handled like sh!t.

The bottles I have are heavy brown glass, crown seal, 650ml longneck. They are marked as returnable for refill so should be durable.

They are still full, best before Oct 2000.

The beer tasted OK, not off or moldy. I'm not drinking it, but I doubt you'll die if you do.

I have access to ...

Hi erik

I'd look to build a good stout recipe in 'standard' batch size, then scale it up.

I'd drop the lactose & make it all malt. If you are going to steep any specialty grain then go the whole hog & use some choc, roast, black & maybe a little crystal.

Have a search for Russian Imperial Stout ...

I did a lager last winter, before I set up a temp controlled fridge

A Coopers Original Lager, BE2 or simular, a few Cascade hops boiled for 10 mins or so & S-23 yeast.

I just placed the fermenter in an unheated room. I racked & left it in secondary for a few weeks too. Turned out great.

Does anyone know how to get toasted malt?

Can it be purchased from a HBS or have you got to do the work yourself?

Trizza.

You can get Brown & Amber malts from some HBS or as said, toast some yourself. Spread some ale malt thinly on an oven tray. Give it a stir every 15 mins or so. I have heard ...

Melb: Cheap crown seal bottles

I have a large number of crown seal bottles availble for Melbourne homebrewers.

A family member has the task of cleaning out a store room. There are two pallets of impoted beer, well out of date. The beer might not poison you but I wouldn't drink it.

I'll swap either one bottle of your best ...
