It isn't that easy. You can get sourghum extract (there are some blokes in Brisbane selling it), but it is very expensive and still requires a full batch boil because it is unhopped ...

I am heading to Japan this year and am definately interested in doing a few things beer related. Will mostly be around Osaka and Nagoya, of which I know you can do an Asahi tour/tasting (not real pumped for that one but will still do it).

Coopers Brewery Tours

Hey guys,

Been a while :oops: , but I'm still around....

Just wondering if any of you SA guys know if the info on the Coopers site regarding their tours is up-to-date (ie Wednesday and Thursday)?
I remember them not being the best at keeping the site up-to-date.

Anthony - All our kits include ale yeast except Blue Mountain Lager and Stockmans Draught which have lager yeast. Kindest Regards

I was thinking the brew would have more chance to exposure from the sunlight, due to the clear nature of glass, or could this get through the plastic anyway??

Getting towards time for us to update some equipment, and have been thinking about going for glass. Is there any issues as far as sunlight goes that needs to be considered when brewing in glass???
