Lowenbrau Dunkel

Was anyone else dissappointed with this? Maybe I just don't like dark lagers...I found it to be a bit bland...

I had it while I was in Sydney at the Lowenbrau Keller, and again at the Bavarian Bier Cafe in Manly. Must admit I liked it enough to consider brewing my own Dunkel. I'm going to use the Grain and Grape Artisanale fresh wort Dunkel recipe. Have to wait for my brewfridge to arrive first though. :?

Had it at Sydney at the Lowenbrau as well, and of course Bavaria :!:  :D

Hadn't heard of the Bavarian Beer Bar, thanks. :!: :D
