Oliver and Geoff

Oliver and Geoff
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
Oliver: I have little recollection of this beer, other than it was very nice.
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
Geoff: Brought back childhood memories of tinned Golden Circle pineapple juice. Despite that, OK.
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
Geoff: True to the gose style, but made with seawater. Really?

Oliver: Having had it a few time before, I'm still unsure about it. I do not not like this beer, but I do not like it.

Should have been called hacksaw.
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
Big! Dry! We drank it chilled, but expect it would of (sic) been even better closer to room temperature.
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
Too bitter to be a golden ale. Not malty or sweety enough. But, a tasty beer. Just not a golden ale.
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
Lisa: Best thing I've put in my mouth all day.

Geoff: A bit sweet for me.

Oliver: F---ing delicious. I really like the sourness with the sweetness.

The perfect beer, asked one of us.
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
Lisa: I've never met a wit i didn't like. This is no exception. An excellent example of the style.

Looks dark. Tastes light.
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
Geoff: Smokey!

Oliver: Oh, f---, it is too!

Marcelle: Beer without morality. A disgrace.
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
A very dry milk stout. Powdered milk, perhaps?

Oliver: I quite like this beer. I don't love it, but, etc, etc.
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
Looks like a Carlton Draught.

Tastes like a hefeweizen - that's not to say it's any good.
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
Geoff: Delicious.

Oliver: Not delicious, but nice. I'm not convinced.

Geoff: I am!

10/10 for Apocalypse Now label but tastes like a hop spider.

Might be a nice beer, but we're not sure.

A little too much going on, perhaps, but possibly justified.
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
Wow! A great sour.

Funking delicious.

Oliver: Amazing.
byOliver and Geoff, May 28, 2017
Wet! Cloudy, dark, chocolatey, quite delicious.

There is a query whether the same "experimental" fresh hops are used as the Harvest.

Oliver: I really, really like it.
byOliver and Geoff, May 27, 2017
Oliver: Bit of a dirty beer. Easy-drinking, no-frills gateway beer.

Geoff: Called and ale. Tastes like a lager.
byOliver and Geoff, May 27, 2017
Summer in a can. Light and fruity.
byOliver and Geoff, May 27, 2017
Geoff: A pale bastard. Chestnuts add an overlay of tasty dryness. Great with cheese platter.

Oliver: Does what it says on the label.
byOliver and Geoff, May 27, 2017
Geoff: Big, white, silky head.

Oliver: I don't love it. But I do not not like it.

Geoff: Maybe there's a reason the hops have never been commercially previously.

Marcelle: Tastes like an experimental hop.
