I was working my way through the beers on tap at the Wheatsheaf the other night and ended up with a pint of Little Creatures Rogers Beer which I thought was pretty good. A bit darker and a bit less bitter than the Pale Ale.

For brew #4 I want to try and make a similar sort of beer (but full strength) and this is what I've come up with so far:
1.7 kg Coopers Lager kit (need to use up the one that came with the Coopers Home Brew kit)
1.5 kg Amber malt extract tin
12 g Cascade for 15 min
Safale US-56 yeast
12 g Chinook dry hopped at rack

Based on 'Boonies LCPA recipe' http://homebrewandbeer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4814 with amber extract and a bit less hops.

What do you reckon?

They're playing their cards pretty close to their chest:

One might assume that whole cascade flowers are their finishing hop. Apart from that, aim for 3.8% alc/vol. The fruity/malty character with such a low alcohol content is going to be difficult to get without doing an all-grain. I would think something high in crystal with a bit of choc and carapils might work well. I'd also recommend eliminating the kit; use unhopped malt extract instead. Liquid yeast that gives you the fruit would also be good, tho the US-56 would be acceptable.
