I've done probably 4 brews now and never had this happen to me before, not sure if normal.
Took out some beer from the fermenter into hydrometer testing jar to test gravity and there are a lot of sendiments coming out of it, it is actually in chunks. What's happening? Never happened before.
Any feedback will be great
sediments when testing beer in hydrometer testing jar
Didn't happen with my first few but the more ingredients i put in the worse the chunks were. I read after that time that i should have drained a few tubes out first to get rid of this cause you don't want it in bottles and it'll affect your FG.
So drain it out without draining too much and then measure.
I've been marking my first and sometimes second bottle depending on how thick it's been.

It's normal, as said by Rysa, more ingredients more sediment.
Now I use basically all malt.... for most, even when I mix as best I can, I still get small chunks of malt.
When I test after ferment has stopped, I open tap full bore, and tip that sample out. I then rinse the Hydrometer test-tube and pour again for an accurate reading, this time slower so not to stir up and get heaps of head in the tube.
Cheers

A homebrew is like a fart, only the brewer thinks it's great.
