The verdict.

I won't be tipping it down the sink. It seems to be drinkable (as opposed to its big brother). But that's all it is. Drinkable.

Free beer is free beer! Maybe a good one to keep in the fridge and share with unexpected guests.

I am assuming this slightly is better than a regular Crowny.

Indeed. I simply don't have the stomach for the original Crowny; but I quite comfortably had two of these last night.

I quite like the crown golden ale.
Easy drinker.

I grabbed a 10 pack of these today, I'm happy with them.
The cans seem to have more of the NS aroma than the stubbies. I may be wrong.

LCPA is a pretty good way to pass the time at least.

How to deal with crownies:

1. wait for a stinking hot day
2. drink enough of your own crafted beer till the mellow and don't care factor has well and truly set in
3. maintain the mood with the crownies

Alternatively, keep it for visitors, and impress them with your hosting ability, by giving them what has a reputation as a high class aussie lager.

Where to start? A really good series of beers. Really good.

Gunnamatta IPA: 6.5% & dry-leafed with Earl Grey leaves. Interesting AND delicious.

Huda-a-wa' Strong: 6.8% Scots' amber ale. Odd but yum.

Rex Attitude: 7%, made, it is claimed, from 100% heavy peated distilling malt. Tastes just like an Islay whiskey, only... beer.

Rex: As above but 10% and even more like whiskey than beer.

Long story but, I run an aerial photgraphy business (among other things) using a remote controlled aircraft that is completely autonomous. To do this commercially in australia you need a uav pilots license. Thats what I'll have after this course.
