carbonation drops
Just brewed our first batch of coopers pale ale used the coopers carbonation drops i pere stubby gave a little mix up then they stuck to side left one overnite and it did dissolve just put 2 and half cartons would it be wise to turn them all again or just leave them for 2 weeks and see how we go first timers so any advice would be good starting the ginger beer next so will be on again cheers wayno

Re: carbonation drops
Do NOT, repeat, do NOT, prime them again.
The drops will dissolve in time. Leave your bottles at least 2 weeks. 3 to 4 is better, but they will prime in their own good time.
Welcome, and good luck with your brewing journey.

cheers for that advice taken
Re: carbonation drops
Just to clarify, what I meant was to not add more carbonation drops.
A gentle turn of your bottles is fine to resuspend your yeast and mix the sugars from the drops.

Re: carbonation drops
I don't rate those drops, personally I've had better luck priming with sugar

You're not Robinson Crusoe there! They're probably OK for newbies, but most people pretty quickly realise that sugar is cheaper, more adaptable and more consistentRUM57L wrote:I don't rate those drops, personally I've had better luck priming with sugar
