Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
As we changed the original thread from monthly to quarterly I have started a new thread with new draw dates.
We've also got a few newcomers who might be interested.
Here are the ground rules: (thanks mostly to Jye of AHB)
1. Post in this thread to say you are in and add your name to the list.
2. The winner will be first valid number drawn out of the Tattslotto draw on Saturday the 9th April 2011 (draw 3101), if no winner the first drawn on Saturday the 16th April 2011 (draw 3103) will be the winner, and all non-winners have to send that person a bottle of their finest brew. Lotto results are available at http://www.tatts.com.au
3. Bottles can be what ever you feel comfortable mailing (PET, glass or stubbies) and should come to about 750ml. It is up to the winner to notify all non-winners by PM of address details.
4. Beers should be mailed as soon as possible. I realise with Christmas people will be away on leave etc, so no exact date is given as a deadline. The winner is at liberty to name and shame any welchers.
5. Please remember to attach a label so the winner can identify the beer and brewer.
5. You may enter more than once, but if you don't win you must send a bottle for each entry; each bottle must be a different beer.

7. jords in, however I only return from europe on the 16th so my addition might be a little late... or maybe the winner (if it isn't me) will get lucky with something I bring back!
8.
9.
10.
11. Scoot49 - Would love to be in. Not requiring much outlay if lost, but plenty to gain if won....

13. Rotten, Count me in again, why not.

Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
Reckon 15 is enough to make this go around viable. Still have about a month to drum up some more entries, but I'd be happy with 14 bottles if I won.
Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
Just a bump on this one as the draw will be this saturday, time is running out to sign up. 15 already so as Bullfrog said it seems to be a goer.
Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
I'd say its a goer, but come on some of you brewers put your " bottle where your mouth is " so the saying goes. Have some fun.
Cheers BB.

Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
Yep, the recipe I started from was an AG one for something similar to a Leffe Blonde, I converted it to extract + spec grains. It has ended up something more similar to Grimbergen if you've ever had that. I usually bottle in stubbies but filled a couple of longnecks with this and a couple with my latest golden ale. If I don't win the lotto the winner will have a choice of those two I think.
Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
I'll have the "Grimbergen" thanks.earle wrote: If I don't win the lotto the winner will have a choice of those two I think.

Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
Isn't easter April 20 something? Might give you a few more weeks to coherse (recruit) some more competitors.earle wrote:Just a bump on this one as the draw will be this saturday, time is running out to sign up. 15 already so as Bullfrog said it seems to be a goer.
Beer numbs all zombies !!!
Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
I think the idea of drawing it a few weeks before the event (Xmas or Easter or whatever) means that the losers can send their bottle to the winner in time for the holiday for their enjoyment.
Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
There's nothing wrong with being optimistic except that I'll be winning this timeTipsy wrote:I'll have the "Grimbergen" thanks.earle wrote: If I don't win the lotto the winner will have a choice of those two I think.

Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
I'll see if I've got a longie of last year's lager about, not much that I've done since is left or as good, the latest two batches are conditioning and were rushed a bit, I'm worried the wort wasn't chilled enough before pitching.
About how much is postage?

Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
Did anybody else that was in the last lotto just get PM'd Mick's address again? Either there's some kind of server glitch that's resending old PM's or old Mick's getting a bit over-confident!
