Using an old keg

Post by jadk42 »

A friendly publican gave me an old keg- can it be used to brew double batches? Someone told me that some guys had worked out a way to cut the top out and fix a lid. would like advice on how this is done.

What precisely were you going to do with it? Use it as a fermenter, mash tun or for kegging? I couldn't work that out from your first post.
