Hi Everyone
I have just come across a product called the Brodie Sediment Catcher. Has anyone heard of this product or tried it? I am led to believe it removes the sediment from your home brewed bottled beer whilst leaving the bottle under pressure. This seems like a fantastic idea to me. I have managed to locate the website which is:- http://www.sedexbrewing.com

URL is actually http://sedexbrewing.com/ Looks like a good idea, how does it work?
Re: Sediment free home brew bottled beer
Looks like it costs a bloody fortune!
I would rather pour my beers in a glass anyway.

Looks like too much work for me. It explains how it works on that page that you linked. Allows the sediment to settle down into the top bit, then you screw that off, while some of the cap remains attached to the bottle (which somehow seals when you remove the sediment catcher thingo). Similar to the traditional champaign technique which involves allowing the sediment to settle into the neck of the bottle, freezing a plug of the beverage, removing the plug and resealing the bottle.

Although I'm sure it would appeal to a lot of people, It just wouldn't feel right for me to not have sediment in the bottle, and it reminds me every time I get to the end of the bottle that I brewed it, that makes me proud of the achievement that's a bloody good beer I made.
Most of the time anyway

Thats it, you people have stood in my way long enough, I'm going to clown college

Bit dear.
I would need Minimum 450....for $1725
, I'd much prefer a keg system for half the price.
I think "Bill" may work for them or own the product, I could be wrong, but then again, I could be right.
...free advertising.
Cheers

A homebrew is like a fart, only the brewer thinks it's great.
