BIG W Brewiser

Post by tommo »

Gday all, will try to make this brief.
I recently bought a s!%*&load of BIG W Brewiser "Combo Packs".
Said dept store had them on sale for $6 because all the " Ultra Brew" had gone rock hard. I sneakily exchanged "rock hard" for "new" and the rest is history. My question being, any tried and tested recipes for said ingredients would be greatly appreciated.
BREWISER PACIFIC DRAUGHT ( EXTRA PALE) 1.7kg
ULTRA BREW 1kg ( not hard)
HALLERTAU HOPS
DEXTROSE 180gm ( obviously for priming but flexible). :)

It disturbes me to see, people bragging about getting four beers after only paying for one when the seller is obviously relying on an honesty system, now we have a shop lifter bragging on the global net, no wonder things cost the honest people so much! If you must steal from people, keep it to yourself!!!

If Mr r.magnay had taken the time to read my submission before jumping to conclusions he would've eventually realised that said dept store was in fact flogging off an out of date , inferior product to an unsuspecting public. I bought six and paid for six. The boxes of the 'combo packs' had previously been opened so as far as i can see my crime was to exchange good for bad Ultra Brew. BIG W have obviously absorbed this massive loss because I am yet to see any reduction in share prices.
You need to get out more mate.

I totally agree with r.magnay, if all you wanted was a recipe then that is what should have been asked for instead of bragging about how you ripped off Big W. I am not saying that i have never done anything wrong, and i certainly don't pity any corporation. But, this is an international beer forum, and i would appreciate it if you didn't make aussies look bums and cheapskates that brag about not being totally honest.
... also, you were told once to take it like a man, but instead you had to lash out and try to justify your actions.
None of us are perfect, lets leave it at that, but it would be nice if you could just agree that this forum is not the place for these kinds of posts.

Thankyou
Patrick

oh for f^%$s sake lighten up!

who has lost out here? NO ONE- all been paid for.
what has been "stolen"? NOTHING- all been paid for.

jeez r.magnay you sound like a fussy old woman, so i would imagine you always squeeze the peaches in the greengrocers before buying, andpoint to the piece of beef you want in the butchers. same thing, surely.

Hey guys dont turn this site into a battlefield!!!!

Thomo you will find out very quickly that People who hide behind computer screens are quick to pass judgement on you, BUT the reality is that it is only words, Im sure that there are no saints here either. And I am 100% sure we at sometime have stolen whether is large or small. A case in point the Humble TAX RETURN.

A quote to remember gents:

"People in glass houses should not root with the lights on"

Now lets get on with it and brew some BEER!!

Im not going to dignify this post any further by posting my name and feeding the TROLLS.

Peace and Harmony.

But a final word.

To quote Paul Keating (former Australian treasurer and prime minister): "There's no such thing as a free lunch."
