Thanks to BEERPIG

Post by muddy »

I had a top surprise yesterday afternoon. Beerpig and I used to bash heads against each other in local (Illawarra) rugby and I played for years with the pig's brother. So we do have some connection.

Yesterday Beerpig's father, Honest Dan came a knocking on my door with a gift of two bottles of Hunter Brewing Co beer which were left at his house by the pig with instructions to deliver them to me. One is APA and the other Kolsch. Great looking champer's style bottles.

Am planning on downing them Thurs night whilst jamming with the boys.

Cheers Beerpig you bloody legend!

Next time let us know you are down and I will treat you to a few hours in the shed.

No worries, thought you would appreciate them

I bought 4 on the way down, the Bock & Lager were nice

Apologies for not dropping them by myself but time was tight & I was kept busy doing the relo rounds & showing my partner & her kids the sights

The brewpub in the Hunter is well worth a visit next time you are up that way

Cheers

BP,

Both the Kolsch and the APA were great. I tried to keep them for somethting special but ........they lasted two days and then I could not resist so I swilled them myself.

Good bloke for a wombat.

Great story about Beerpig's wayward brother whom I played a few hundred games of rugby with. He likes to dress for special occassions in fancy female lingerie. We just won a 3rd grade premiership and were in the sheds getting dressed when our arch enemies, Shamrocks were coming in to get ready for the 1st grade game. As some of the Shammies came over to congratulate Tony for our win, he dropped his towel to reveal a frilly black g string and a push up bra. The sick puppy wore this all weekend. Shamrocks lost.

Only in rugby would such a thing be accepted without question.

cheers

Next time you run into him ask how hard it is to get into bed in a caravan after helping to recycle a carton

I'm suprised he found the van, but will continue his training when next we catch up

Rugby is a great leveller ................. you might also ask him about certain competions we had during his time as a Wombat, first one to wipe their face loses! .................. he never got close in the headbutt stakes

Cheers
