i would like to find out some more aout hops. Does anyone ever bother to grow their own?, can this be done in victoria?
i also heard about the "Pride of Ringwood" hops where are they grown and how do they rate?

Some of the guys on this forum do. Have a search on eBay because someone is selling the rhizomes (or whatever you call them) that are needed to start growing.
Vic should be fine for growing them. They grow 'em in Tassie so here should be fine.

I have only used Pride Of Ringwood once, never again, too bitter and harsh for my taste.

Hey Damon,

Try boiling the POR for less time. If you do that, it tastes a bit like Cascade :)
