Flat Ginger Beer

Post by dags64 »

I brewed a Coopers ginger beer and bottled over three weeks ago
opened one on the weekend to taste and it was flat as a tack
tasted allright, just flat
bottled in PET so the give in the bottle should have been a clue
and I use carb drops but have never had a problem with the drops

I have done this brew a couple of times before with no problems
could it be the fact that it is cooler now and the brew might take
longer to carbonate

could I put some more sugar in each bottle then recap :?: :?:

any thoughts and/or suggestions would be welcome

Dags,

I'd sit tight and give it another couple of weeks.

Cheers,
Greg.

I've given this bit of advice a few times on this forum...

Move your bottles to a warmer place, and rotate them once or twice a day to rouse the yeast.

And as gregb said, relax, and give it some time.
