Check the link out to this on ebay, I've never seen a fermenter this big. And no I'm not the one selling it.

Overkill or what?
You would need to be doing 5 batches of all grain @ 40l boil volume, or 9 standard kits at once, to fill it. I wonder if the guy is selling it because it turned out to be a bit of a white elephant.
Remember, it's about quality not quantity. Or at least quality in reasonable, not ridiculous, quantity.

220 though, Nah, could almost get a good new stainless conical for that price

Ouch. That's a lot of bottles to wash and cap on bottling day.

There are downsides to quantity.

There was one of those sitting in the middle of the HBS last time i went, same colour and everything. Didnt catch the new price on it though.

yeah i reckon.. i could imagine you'd want a pretty sturdy table/brew stand too :wink:
