1999 Hahn millenium ale

Post by AidanMatthews »

So im going to be a dad for the first time any day now, i have been saving a bottle of millenium ale for this very occasion.

Has anyone tasted it, its gtting pretty old now, some may say too old.

Should i take a back up beer for the celebration?

Wow, wouldn't that be pushing the limits of the lifespan for a commercial brew?

And Congratulations!!!

I recall drinking one of these about 8 years ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it at the time. It's one of the brews which got me into non mainstream beers, and I'm forever grateful for that.
Go for it, is what I say. What do you have to lose?

Congatulations! Being a dad is one of your greatest memories you will treasure for the rest of your life.

I will be a granddad for the 3rd time in about 2 weeks time.

Wow, so Geoff and I can brew a Millennium Ale that can match it with the best Hahn has to offer!
