Somewhere within a thread on here within my many hours of reading was a ratio formula for substuting dry for liquid malt as the you needed less dry malt to replace a 1.5kg can of liquid(if I remember correctly).
After numerous searches with no joy I would appreciate some guidance in the right direction.
There's ~20% water in LME, so if you are substituting LME for DME then you need to times the amount called for in the recipe by 0.8 and if sustituting DME for LME then times by 1.25.
Been years since I was in maths class, but that's the formula that I use and it tends to work well.
