NEW V.B. AD

Post by wrighty »

Had to have a good chuckle at this ad :D
Thought there was a few groups not represented in the parade. Such as

The men with no tastebuds.
The singlet wearing bogans.

You get the idea, feel free to add your thoughts.
Im not an alchoholic i dont go to the meetings !

It's getting very annoying, it's on so much.

Raised a muted smirk the first time for the men punching above their weight...but that's it.

They should have stuck with the 'matta a fact I got it now".
Never tasted FREE beer I couldn't learn to like!

Did I espy a glimpse of the eternal stumblebum, Molly Meldrum, in that ad?

I think it's a funny add, well made.
Shame they can't put that talent into brewing a beer we, eeerrr aaaahhh, cognescenti, would like to drink.

Ah, of course, that's why we brew our own.

Having said that, I'm on my second commercial brew for the day.
First one was a Coopers Best Extra Stout (won in the beer draw at my golf club).
I'm now on one of our local breweries The Little Brewing Company's Mad Abbot. It's a strong Belgian Abbey Ale, bottle conditioned. Bought it about 6 months ago, and just cracked the first one. Lovely.

Cheers Warra, been flat out lately! Had the last week off school and work so I am slowly getting back to life....

I think I might just hit the "mark all as read" button and start from scratch, the back log of missed posts is huge!
Prost and happy brewing!

That sounds like a plan.
Must be a bit overwhelming trying to catch up with hundreds of posts.
There's been 3 or 4 of us keeping all the newbies, inquisitive, ponderers, worriers, curious, experimenters etc etc in line, and trying to set them on the straight and narrow towards brewing good beer.
Are you still doing your brewing course?

Yeah still at the UB, though I will not be full time this semester. I am working a few days a week in a brewery here in The Rat and will be moving to full time work there soon.

I have only done one beer this year (gluten free sourghum Pale Ale) and unfortunately left the tap open on the bulk prime vessel and lost the lot! Hopefully will have some time in the near future to have another go
