I wont be having a crack at this until next "lager season"..doing a Summer Pilsner this W/end....All W/Pilsner...a touch of Melanoidin grain..hopped with B Sazz and Saaz...using Wyeast 2000 Budvar..Anyway...have a crack at ..still looks a nice drop.

When I looked at the Stella at Dan Murphys last night it was all imported, not BUL.

unfortunatly the Dans near my place still has the BUL shit, checked em out on the weekend, no real deals to be found

Taz, getting off topic here but IMHO filtering and kegs are the way to go not so much PITA washing bottles but a better tasting beer. Been O/D'ing on lagers lately so I have an English ale and a Kolsch lined up first then I am going to try your Stella recipe, will keep you posted.

Just picked up on this one Greg........no, waiting for the winter on a Stella clone unless I can pick up a cheap freezer before hand. BWS at Kingston has Stella on special for 45 bucks, thats about their best price down here. (the tyranny of the Bass Strait). The are getting sneaky as some of the CUB slop was mixed in among the fully imported cartons in the coolroom.
