How Important Is?

Straining off the hops before adding to the wort?

Considering I rack after 3-4 days anyhow?

Thoughts/Ideas/Comments.

Holy cow am i glad i just read that... because as i was straining the hops and corriander seeds out of a boil i kinda dropped it in the fermenter. Guess i have an excuse to finally use my beer filter.

If your using hop pellets you don't really need to strain OR filter..

I never do, just give your brew plenty of time and the hops will all settle to the bottom.

Now that i AG, the hops are always strained, but when i was still doing extract, i would leave the hops in the fermenter. I only ever strained if i was planning on using the yeast cake for another brew.
