Redoak Honey Ale

Post by WSC »

Anyone tried this?

Had it on tap on Friday after a LCPA and found it to be very different, flowery or something, not sure if I liked it.

So how the hell do you get a beer to taste like grape bubblegum.

Dry hop hubba bubba when racking?

Just to drag up an old post...

I had a crack at one of these during the week while on holidays. I thought it was bloody nice and had a really intense honey flavour. They use Leatherwood honey in this (according to the label) and I'd always been led to believe that it was too strong in flavour but it was really nice IMO.

Cheers,

Tim
