Another Fridge..

Post by James L »

Guys,

I have been offered another fridge for my brewing escapades... This particular one is a single unit two door side by side fridge freezer about 500L ish... apparently it keeps very cold and its free....

I already have a brew fridge, a beer fridge, a food fridge and two freezers... Can i justify getting this fridge?? The only thing i could think of using this fridge for would be to replace my beer fridge which is already 300L, or save it as a keg fridge...

Any suggestions? I could always hold onto it and sell it to one of my fellow WA home brewers..

Side by side ey? Not something i would be using for brewing. Maybe use it as your food fridge and retire your food fridge to the brewery?

Still trying to convince my partner we need a bigger food fridge so i can use the current one in my brewery.

No, i couldnt temp control it because it would make the freezer section obsolete, but I thought i would use it as my new beer fridge (the fridge for keeping my fermented beer cold), and use the freezer section to keep 50L or so of glycol at -20C, to pump through something similar to a radiator, and blow air through it via a fan in my insulated shed... means it would be a relatively cheap way to keep the shed colder than ambient in the summer....

Bit of piss farting around though...
