Budvar lager yeast

Ugh was about to put in an order for Ross, and his Wyeast 2000 Budvar lager yeast is already out. Really want to do the brew on the weekend, so need to order tonight. Anyone recommend a similar yeast?

Where are you mate? I could spare a tube of the 2000 which I just put into my yeast bank, specially if you've got a tube of a different strain to trade, or a longie of something tasty. Or G&G probably have it.

I'm in Warrandyte, but am afraid I don't have a lot to offer
My grand plan was to order everything through Ross to save the trip to Yarraville for G&G, and I work through the weekend so it's tough to get there. Alas, eager hb'ers have stolen my precious yeast heheh

Hmm... Warrandyte eh? I guess that's not the end of the world. I'm in North Melb, so prolly not that much better than G&G for you. Could give it to you outside business hours though, so it's up to you. No trade required, tho a longneck of any Coopers product, or even Invalid stout would be happily accepted...

ahhh i appreciate it, but i just ordered some 2001 urquell instead. Hopefully it works out ok. Maybe once I've got a supply i can offer a trade
