Yes still using it, 1st brew using 4 bottles, next using 2 bottles finish the batch up with stubbies, 3rd just using stubbies, 4th usually finished a couple of bottles by then so 2 bottles and stubbies, 5th back to 4 bottles and starting over again.

I really need a Kegging system.

OK. How many Co2 chargers are you using per 6l. bottle?
I`ve always got away with using 2 and natural prime, I don`t bother with force carbonating.
Is that what you`re doing?

Same as you, Usually 2, sometimes a third could be used for the 1/2 litre or so, but I just tap a new bottle and when it is ready for it's 2nd charge I empty the other into it. ( not worth wasting a charge on 1/2 litre or so).

I did try Force carbonating once, but the tap couldn't hold the pressure, opened spraying the kitchen good thing I was handy to hold the tap closed before making to big a mess.
Ended up wrapping a thick rubberband around the handle to keep it shut.

Cheers
Ron
