FG for a Real Ale kit with malt....?

I had a thread going on this the other week and put in in on Thursday night. It stalled for a few days and finally got going late on the weekend by memory.

Been bubbling away mad since and has stopped as of this morning. Its down to 1014 now. Would that be about normal for this type of beer?

Highest reading I've had for a beer thats stopped bubbling and I know that the air lock isn't the be all end all in juding a beer.

I'll test it tomorrow but i plan on maybe bottling it Sunday night letting it sit for a few more days yet to settle.

If you did 22.5l. and got it down to 1014, it`s finished.

yeah I'd say so too. It can sit there for a few days till i can get around to bottling it.

Smells like a fairly strong brew too.
