Brew # 1 is all but gone, 2 stubbies & 1 longneck left!
#2 is in limbo & #3 got bottled today.
spatch, simple....buy more bottles ot get your mates to buy longies and give them to you.

Check Ebay, they generally have bottles for sale and also check local papers.

Do not pay any more than 50 cents pr longie for VB, Tooheys all the new ones. Roll Tops are much better to cap and are a stronger glass generally too.

I purchased about 130 Longie rolltops for $38......fluked it really but they were dirty

Cheers

I think he meant his first batch will be drunk before the second is even ready and the third is way off from being ready.

Looks like a store bought carton of your choice to bridge the gap..May I suggest Temple ESB

Spot on Chadjaja.
2nd brew has been in the bottle a month this weekend so will try another tester or two then.

On the ebay bargains, there never seems to be any "bargains" in Melbourne? They are always
in Queensland :(

Thats because people buy stuff and then after a few months couldn't be bothered with it any more and just flog it off. To lazy in Queensland if you ask me, i'm a Queenslander but im definetly not a lazy bastard, ive got a condition called TICK.

People in Melbourne are a little more sophisticated and dont give up and are a little more harder working..

Could it also have something to do with the climate down here being much more amenable to brewing?

Back to the beer and tried one last night after another week of warmer temps then some time
in the fridge and its bubbled up nicely. :D
Won't hold a head but continues fizzing which it didn't before. :D

Thanks guys for the advice earlier.
