jeez, i hope not.

That being said, this is a very good question. I have five fermenters, 3 of them are 3 years old........beer still tastes great so I guess they are ok too.... :wink:

Nice........any photos, or could you tell us how you secured the glass?

I have 3 50L SS kegs, 1 for the boil, and the other 2........ well, I might just need to ferment in them now!!!! :wink: :P :P

I dont have a pic of the fermenter but i just cut the top out with a 4inch grinder with a megaline blade in it. The glass lid is from a saucepan.
