See what I mean? You blokes just can`t help yourselves when an opportunity for a potshot comes up. Then the moaning starts when someone gets kicked in the head for doing it.
Just do as I do and go along quietly. It pays off, everyone loves me.
Joy to the world.

I don't think Doc was having a shot, I think he was just pointing out the difference of the two (c)Chris' in terms of grammar.

Does your priest next door still love you?? :P

Geez, I hope it was you with the priest otherwise it is a bloody stupid post

Cheers

Boonie
Priest? What priest? What the hell are you mumbling about now

A homebrew is like a fart, only the brewer thinks it's great.

drsmurto wrote:Not much action lately - is it just me or has all the recent abuse made people turn to other forums for beer discussion?

Normally there are a few dozen posts for me to check each morning (I dont have the internet at home) but the last few days i am struggling to find 6 new posts...... Even the coopers club forum seems livelier........ :(

Just a suggestion to the mods - how about that sticky in the recipe section for tried and tested recipes? I think new visitors need something to read other than threads of abuse. Just me. I go elsewhere now for a majority of my info, particularly when it comes to AG brewing but i havent turned my back on kit brewers and still think i have something to contribute - hard when i dont have an audience....

If you look back at the member list you will see a lot of names no longer here with 100s of posts - did all these people leave due to similar abuse or did they just outgrow this place?

Or maybe i just have too much time on my hands and feel the need to up my post count with something other than a token emoticon......

DrSmurto

couldn't be bothered reading the whole thread DS, to lazy today. but wait till after christmas when every man and his dog gets a coopers kit, then the forums will be really lively "have i stuffed my brew?" "whats a secondary?" "what are hops?" "whats this thingo for?"

Great idea Phill, I am sure my missus will believe the dog needed a fermentor! He does help himself to the odd lap of spilt sauce so it is only fair right?
Prost and happy brewing!

Hmm perhaps i could convince my dog to keep chooks - that could be mutually beneficial
