Care when racking

Post by morgs »

The other day i was racking my beloved amber ale and i left the tap on the secondary open causing beer to spill all over my KT 26 shoes. Before i knew what was happening my socks were soaked. Is this beer wasted or should i wring them out back into the secondary? has anyone else had this problem?

All the more reason, why, like myself, you should always make beer in your socks only, specially when racking.
Much easier to retive the beer then if you spill it on your feet.

tip:- where thick socks, they soak it up better...
