Google "best conditions for growing hops?" and you'll get heaps. Importantly - As a consequence of daylength and season length, hop production is limited to latitudes between 35 and 55 degrees - which is maybe why Tas was the main hop growing area.

I bought 2 off him via AHB and he threw a 3rd one in for nix - cost me about $35. Got 2 goldings and a cluster and have a cascade on the way.

Is there a thread on AHB at the moment? Typical, I break my collar bone and go offline for a while and some punk starts selling hops!
