Hey guys,
I currently have a 330L kelvinator fridge that i use to ferment my beers at 8-12C. It has suddenly dawned on me that i need another fridge to lager for long periods of time and to keep my bottled beer cold. I cant keep turning my fridge from 8-12, and then down to 4, as that would mean i would either have to brew or lager... not both.
Would you guys have any suggestions from your own experience what size would be a good size to get. I only plan on having a maximum of 3 20L cubes in the thing at once, and keeping bottled beer in the fridge door, and i wasnt planning on getting one with a freezer.
I thought id get some suggestions before spending the big bucks...

A chest freezer is a great idea - FOR THE BREWING - many can fit two fermenters in side by side, and with a fridgemate or Adloheat thermostat as I have, temperature control is a breeze.
Then use your current fridge for the lagering.

My dad is bringing up his 100L bar fridge from home, i couldnt say no.. its barely big enough to put in a 20L cube and half a dozen long necks. I think i'll have to only use it for Lagering. I'll have to brew my lager for the same amount of time as i Lager my beer, so there is always a brew in the Lagering fridge...
Therefore i will turm my fermenting fridge down to 8C so it will take 3-4 weeks to ferment and then i'll be able use that to keep my drinking beers semi cold too...

I found a 470 Litre fridge (no Freezer) on the side of the road, sign on it "Free Working Fridge", I was very Lucky, bit rusty but when I paint it will look excellent.
It is enormous and can fit 4x19 Litre Kegs in there with bottles in the door
, get a huge one like this and you will have plenty of room for everything

Now I can have kegs in the fridge and glasses and other stuff in the freezer part.
