I thought that's what you meant...sorry, but can't help out the lot with that. I don't doubt that it's being distilled somewhere in Arkansas at this very minute, though.

I checked out an online Aussie slang dictionary today...found out my soon-to-be-ex-wife is a bogan...with a mappa Tassie as dry as a dead dingo's donger... :P

Yup, I do, mate. Too right. Ava captains at this: We Seppos nition our eggs before we boil them.  Seriously, it's approaching summer 'ere, mate, and I live in a warm climate, so it's a bloody good idea to have an egg nitioner. When it gets especially hot, there will usually be a news story of an elderly person being found dead in his/her home because he/she didn't have an egg nitioner. 'Ow about you, mate? I reckon it gets hot enough in Brisvegas for you to need an egg nitioner of your own.

Good on ya, mate. You've got me stumped. When it comes to hunting for dropbears, I'm a snag short of a barbie...

(Well, I'll tell ya what happens when you drink grog and ava go at posting to this forum...ya click Edit when you meant to click Quote. So as a result, part of this original post has been lost. C'est la vie.)

Welcome KIP.
I hear the natives from Arkansas like mount'n women.
Any truth to the rumour?

By the way, you Seppos have one of the most informative home brewers in your own country. Check out John Palmer and his book How to Brew.

I'm not an aussie by birth, but a clogwog.

I've read Volume 1 (the online version of the book). Excellent read.

First time I've heard clogwog; ta for the new word, mate. Where are you from, if not from Oz?

Cheers,
John

Now mate, ya know there's no such thing as a dinky-di dropbear. Do you really know a sandgroper who's seen one? But you had me seppo head spinning round for a little while. :P

Cheers,
John

Off topic here, but warra48 or NTRabbit, either one of you familiar with the Dutch sixties rock band Q65? They recorded a few excellent tracks in the mid-to-late sixties.
