I'm told 55 kegs have made their way into NSW & are being put on at selected venues for 1 day only. Keep an eye out for it.
I'm suffering from over indulgence on it last night.

Ohh you poor interstaters. The stuff is like gold. If you can get a vintage stout then buy the whole shop out it's gooood.
Sounds like Beer O'clock.

I paid $8 for 4 bottles of Coopers Vintage Ale some time ago. Gotta love the liquor store discount bin.
Coopers.

Well, they might, but they'd be charging you somewhere around $5 a pot, that'd be, what:
19L/285mL=66 pots. 66*$5 = $330.
Have fun with that!

Oh yes. So good that I've since found out that I probably had a few more than I suspected. I've been told (by some Carlton drinkers present at the time) of certain events that transpired of which I have absolutely no recollection....
Which explains the boxes of Thai food & 3 empty Coopers glasses that I found in my loungeroom the next morning
Warning: drink it with caution
7.5% beers (at $4.60 for 330ml BTW) all afternoon can take it's toll
From what I recall of the early afternoon tastings we thought that it had no real standout malt or hop flavours. It was well balanced with the alcohol notes in that respect. The major standout character that all agreed on were bananaery esters.

Never seen it on tap, but I've never heard of Vintage ale on tap either.
Sounds like Beer O'clock.

I saw this advertised in the local paper last year. A pub in Wollongong had three kegs on tap for one Sunday arvo only. Unfortunetly I couldn't make it.
