Sediment Question

Im making my beers from kits... and im a bit concern by the sediment, well i assume its the sediment. at the bottom of my bottles im geting a white sludge..... have done something wrong or is thisthe standard form for sedimet from the tins....

It's standard for HB AFAIK. A by-product of the bottle conditioning. I believe you can reduce it by racking, but I haven't tried yet.

it's perfectly normal mocker, i usually cool my beers in the fridge for at least 2 days, helps the sludge stick to the bottom, then i pour out the beer into a glass or jug and leave the last little bit behind with the sediment

ah excellent :) what dyou guys mean by racking?
