Ive never tried the st george but ive heard similar reports, hence the fact that i have not tried it
you guys need to try this beer called Cintra
it's from Portugal...they're selling it in the local bottleshop for $27 a carton
my housemate bought a carton of it and it is the most FOUL beer i have ever tasted
mmmm Cintra I remember having that often a while ago purely because it was so cheap. Mind you if your going to be drinking something that terrible you may as well not be paying much for it. Unlike Toohey Extra Dry Platinum, now that is both pricey and absolutely horrid.
Haha yeah, I had a carlton draught the other day. It's been longer than I thought since I'd had one (used to be my staple beer), and farking hell, it was a load of dog's bollocks! I mean, it tastes like the bottom of a birdscage. I reckon it must be all the sugar. Just another example of the HB experience raising one's expectations I guess. I just know I'm going to be buying expensive beers whenever I go to pubs now.
I didn't see Busch mentioned here. That is undoubtedly brewed with piss water.
Moosehead as Dogger mentioned is awful. Every bottle I have had smells like skunk piss (tastes like it too).
You can tar and feather me if you want to, but Hooengarde(sp) is the worst beer I have ever had the misfortune of trying. I can still drink a terrible beer, but that one I have to pour out.
someone may have mentioned this, but brahma by far. ye gods it is horrible. it was either that or a brand called pilsener (which may have once been a true pilsner) in every bar in ecuador. i always chose pilsener, and it is about as good as a carlton coldie.
Pale_Ale,
Buddy it tastes like camel jizz....or how i would imagine camel jizz to taste like
Deutsches Reinheitsgebot: Deutsches Bier ist von Wasser, Hefe, Hepfen und Malz gemacht. Wenn nicht, DASS IST GAR KEIN BIER!!! Ich liebe Kuupers Koelsch und Frueh Koelsch.
