Holland Festival on 19-20th Feb

Post by Beer Krout »

If you want to go chug some Grolsh this weekend.
Try the Holland Festival at Sandown, Melbourne
http://www.hollandfestival.com.au/

I've been told to get there early, before noon. If you want to purchase the mythical 5 litre Grolsh bottle (they sell out fast)!
Maybe able to pick up some "cheap" Grolsh swing tops?

Cheers

just to report in.

The grolsh swing tops where $5.50 per bottle. I know, not cheap. I picked up at least 30 for brewing purposes. Lots were going in the bin. Good Score in all.

Sorry. I've been told there were no 5 litre bottles this year for those that got in early. Althought that was the tip off.

Actually,

Getting the Grolsch swingtops is pretty easy actually,

They can't be recycled with out removing the cap, this is to much like work so the recycler pulls them for me and then he can smoke instead of pulling the lids.

Every now and again I'll drop a homebrew or two off for him

I just wish more people had good taste.

Interested in getting my paws on the 5 Litre monster though.

Did they have the Grolsch Cannon there? That bugger is a piece of work, for you folks who like the Chimnay that stuff.

Didn't see anything but the standard Grolsh Lager there?
Sounds interesting, this Grolsh Cannon of which you speak.

Malty High alcohol? one would presume.
