Brahma - Warning!

Post by velophile »

Avoid this one!

Imported by Lion Nathan from Brazil.

I don't usually heap crap on the megaswill beers but this is nasty, cheap piss.
I was given one for free & won't accept another. No flavour, or rather a weak sweet cordial taste with no hop scent either.

Needed a homebrew to wash the taste out of my mouth.

It wouldn't give me a hangover, I'd never drink it again.

Nor would I drink more than one of anything that tasted that bad.*

I don't pay to go into bars.

Maybe now I'm an "old Bastard" but I can't remember the last time I paid to get into a pub without intending to see a band.

well cant say i do in Aus, but over here its the only way for the bars to make money, as beer and spirits are so dam cheap. drinks are generally somewhat included in the price, but not up to the value of the entry...

Funny that you mention Lion Nathan importing this.

I was down at Jindabyne last week and CUB were doing a tasting of it. I refused to try it because I have had it before and then really upset the Carlton rep when I told him I was a Tooheys Old drinker. He asked me if I'd tried Carlton Black and I said yes, it's peurile. Hwn he asked what opeurile meant I told him it was shithouse. He wasn't impressed.

No sense of humour I guess.

what do you mean by over here? do u mean australia?

i feel that drinks are a little over priced in australia - or it may be the venues i frequent
