I just picked up 2 of the munich lager at K-Mart for $8.20 each. I figure do a two can brew with some saflager and some steeped crystal.
Anyone tried these, is it a waste of the grain and yeast

Wander are made by Maltexo (Lion Nathan), and are arguably identical on the inside to Brewiser, Tooheys, Blackrock and Goldrush

This is just the lager yeast and is to be expected. If it
didn't smell like rotten eggs I'd be worried! The smell will dissapate soon enough.
Cheers,

Wander kits where one of the originals way back, along with Coopers.
Dress them up and they should be ok. Not world beaters though.
