I was trying a James Squire Porter for the first time today, and it was one of the best beers i have ever tasted. Does anyone know a recipe?
Also, has anyone used coffee before in a dark ale or stout? Im going to try it anyway, but just want to get a heads-up on the hops i should use, malt extract etc.
i haven't but i've got a mate that has tryed some. he went to a party that had homebrew on tap and he tried their black ale. it turns out the brewer was running low on hops so he dropped in a handful of coffee beans. my friend said i was awesome so i'll be trying it soon enough for sure.
