Racked my brew on sunday at about 10.30am. Because i have been too friken busy i wont be able to bulk prime and bottle until tomor morn (friday). Will this matter? I read that it should be primed and bottled after 4 days in the second rig and friday will be the 5th day.

Cheers, Kippo.

Keg System

Found this pretty nice looking keg system on the brewcraft site. Interested, only prob is no price tag was on it (funny that). Just wondering if anyone woud have ne idea as too how much a system like this one would cost.

Couldnt wait! Had to get me racking gear. Just ended up buying another coopers micro kit and tubing from bunnings. Gives me everything i need and a spare of everything so i figured that works.

Yeh only ting i can think of is temps are too high. I had the same prob with my first batch (smell and taste were a little fruity), dropped the temps next time and had no troubles (then again that batch still hasnt cleared out after 6 months must be a bad one) lol.

Nothing wrong with Coopers mate. I did the Bitter last batch (was it original series bitter?). Found that it came out really dark, almost like a dark ale.

Yep good stuff....Depending on whether or not i can make it to the HBS or not this brew may not be racked, but before i even think of pitching another batch all the racking gear will be acquired.

Cheers fellas, Kippo.

k fellas. I know about the temps for different yeats and all and thought that the kit came with saflager yeats, but the instructions said on the kit that the yeast can ferment as low as 13degsC, so didnt want to drop it any lower. thanks for the advice!

Cheers, Kippo.
