Honey in a Cascades Spicy Ghost

My miss's bought me a kilo of Honey, and I was thinking of chucking it in my next brew.

A tin of Cascades Spicy Ghost Draght
1 kilo of dextrose
1 kilo of honey

any reason why not?

eh cleaning bottles sucks... I had a party couple of weeks back, didn't rinse my favourites out, now they are a real C*** to clean. Poured coke into some of the worse ones, and some of those came up ok, any tips on how to clean really manky bottles?

Australian Pale Ale

Hey, Happy New Year and all that....
I bottled a Coopers Australian Pale Ale yesterday (4th Jan 2009) just the straight forward tin and brew enhancer 2, and I was wondering if this'll be ready on the 26th, or does this take a little longer? anyone have any idea?

this is Berri fruit juice drink, ingrediants are

water, reconstituted aple juice (35%), sugar, food acid (330), vitamin c, flavour, colour (150d)
I have four litres of this, and a 2 litre bottle of Berri apple and pear. was just gonna replace 6 litres of water with all this juice, what do ya ...

I'm about to put a cider on, and was gonna add a couple of litres of apple juice, only to get home and realise I'd bought juice that was reconstituted... is this ok to use?

Hey, i know you old schoolers out there used to measure your sugar and all that, but I'm a new comer to the game, and guess what? I was all set up, sterile bottles, just about to pour.... of course run out of drops!!! darn it, is 11.00pm, I'm half cut. have left it all on sink, lucky i got the day ...

I did a Coopers Bitter can that did that Mt Vesuvius thing. It was my second brew i ever put on, and I accidently only filled to 20 litres (recipe called for 23). I ended up bottling the whole lot in plastic using only one carbonation drop, is tastin wuite nice after 4 weeks.

It's a Wander Draught, yeast under the lid... Coopers Brew Enhancer 1. Two weeks later attempted a restart, half a cup of ordinary sugar and a yeast I got from the Brew shop. Didn't note packet... I am getting consecutive readings of 1018. I am perplexed and really want to get on to another brew ...

The never ending saga continues!!! I'm am so fed up with this brew! I have tried a restart, and a week later I'm still getting readings of 1019... is this too high to bottle? I can't afford to waste any more time on this brew, will bottle or ditch Saturday morning. Please, what is the best course of ...

Well, that Brew I talked about in the other thread, had defininatly stalled. added a yeast that I bought from my local supplier, and about half a cup of sugar. Airlock started bubbling again, so I'm hoping this will get it sorted...
I hope this never happens to me again.

Thanks very much for your help... am still getting mixed hydrometer readings... will this brew ever be ready? has been 2 weeks today. there is condensation on lid. Any predictions on when I might get a suitable reading?

yep reading was 1020, typo... rolled barrel rather vigourously, have I f*cked it? if so, how will I know? should I scrap this bastard and start again? temperature is 26'... Hydrometer is now reading 1015...
