twist top bottles are fine for bottling,although it helps a great deal if you have a decent bench capper. There's heaps of info about that on this forum..

I used a hand capper for my first ever brew........and it was the last time I used it,them things are lethal. I've used a superautomatica since and no dramas,I also clean my new caps.

Drsmurto....how did u go with the temprite? did u get it up and running? does it use much power? I have just been given a two tap temprite from my local,although I do need to get a keg or 2 and gas bottle. If u have any adice on this it would be great..

No...I dont think so...Ill have to put up some pics 2morrow. A normal keg is attached and the hoses go into the temprite where it chills the beer going through the lines..

went down to the local 2night for a few coldies and came home with an electric temprite inline chiller thingmejig. It looks impressive but I have little idea on how it works. Is it as simple as hooking it up to a keg and plugging it in? It was for free so I had to take it,although Im a novice HBer ...

From my limited experience I beleive that supa alpha is a hop that is put with a mex cerverva. Also Canadian light kit with supa alpha to mimik corona....but I could be wrong

So I'll ditch the brewing sugar and use 1kg of ldm instead..
and Lachy..yeah I was think of adding cascades finishing hops.
I live on an island so its not always possible to get to hbs,which makes it hard when I am after some quick advice..

I was given a can of Coopers Real Ale the other day and already have 1kg of LDM and 1kg of Coopers brewing sugar lying around.....should I just go for it?
Ikg of LDM seems alot,maybe half that is better?...
